Beginners Acro Yoga with Shell - Transitions!
This 2 hour workshop with take you through some foundational postures in acro yoga, then explore time dedicated towards learning how to link them together. Using positive pressure and changing points of contact to flow.
Working in pairs and groups of 3, we’ll warm up with partner calibrations, then have a go at basing, flying and spotting. All 3 roles are equally important in acro!
Learning to move with another human can be a little scary at first… giving up total control and working together to create shapes and flow. This workshop with help you find trust with yourself and another, learning to communicate in a safe and supported environment.
Acro yoga has been a HUGE part of my personal journey, learning to break down boundaries and fears, and I am still working through these things on a daily basis with this ever evolving practice!
