This 2hr workshop is for those starting to explore Pincha Mayurasana, forearmstand.
Our time together is dedicated to conditioning safely and step by step towards this asana. Understand what foundations and support are needed to invert and find balance.
Learning these asana in a flow class can be challenging which is why I offer this space. Giving you plenty of time to practice at your own pace, and to try again.
We’ll look at conditioning for pincha mayurasana from a strength, alignment and flexibility perspective. And you’ll come away with lots of ways to condition at home as part of your practice. My approach gives clarity and support along the way, using props, the wall and hands on assisting.
My teaching draws on all of my loves! Acro, handstands and yoga. For me this practice brings space to be present and find grace and lightness within its challenges. I love building strength and getting creative. I've spent extensive time learning these asana and finding fun and creative ways to condition. Bringing awareness to key components and micro adjustments add depth and ease to the experience. The qualities we practice on the mat can be taken off the mat, helping find more balance and lightness throughout your life and learning to accept where we are in each unfolding moment.
Expect a unique, playful and well-rounded flow balancing yang and yin.
